This flexibility also supports inclusive employment. We welcome diverse lived experience, ways of thinking and ways of working. What does a typical week in our team look like? Well, it is anything other than typical!

Here is a week in the life of The Mill House Team:

Monday: We connect as a team and map out our priorities for the week (and then get cracking on the work), including calls with Social Enterprises and emerging social entrepreneurs.

Tuesday: We are out and about in the Canberra and regional community to be part of the social enterprise and innovation ecosystem. This might include attending events other organisations are holding. Back at the Hub the phones are busy with enquiries about a new project we are working on.

Wednesday: A new cohort could be commencing one of our learning pathways to engage in growing their social enterprise or starting their journey. We support these learners to stay engaged in the program and build their skills.

Thursday: We may be hosting our monthly Impact After Hours. This is after a day of meetings with our partners to collaborate on events and activities. Every month we connect with our Board who are like-minded experts in Canberra that help us deliver on our purpose.

Friday: After a busy week we are probably tying off loose ends and preparing for the week ahead.
